Start with Environment! - Contact-making seminar for newcomers in Youth Exchanges

Target groups: Project managers, Youth leaders, Youth workers
• Youth workers or representatives of non-formal groups of young people that have a mandate to enter into a partnership with other organisations/groups
• No or very little experience with YiA
• Willing to develop and implement a Youth Exchange project on the topic of environment
• Able to communicate and work in English

For participants from: Austria, Belgium - FL, Belgium - FR, Bulgaria, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Sweden, United Kingdom, Iceland, Switzerland, Turkey, Croatia, SOUTH-EAST EUROPE
This contact-making seminar on the topic of environment is targeted at organisations with no or little experience with Youth Exchanges (Actions 1.1 and 3.1).

Aim: Supporting partner-finding and networking among organisations.

Objectives:
• developing new youth exchange projects under the YiA programme on the topic of environment
• exchange of previous experience and good practice among participants
• better understanding of the eligibility and quality criteria of Youth Exchanges among participants
• promoting innovation in YiA projects
• supporting the 2011 annual priority on global environmental challenges

Cost: Hosting costs will be covered by the Croatian, Austrian, Hungarian and Swiss NA. Please contact the NA in your country to check if they are willing to cover your travel costs and under which conditions.
